Super Bowl XLIII - Jennifer Hudson - National Anthem
Jennifer Hudson performed a heartfelt rendition of the National Anthem to open Super Bowl XLIII. She did an amazing job! Welcome back J-Hud!

Jennifer Hudson's Private Memorial Service for her Slain Family
It was an absolutely beautiful day here in Chicago for the "invitation only" funeral and burial of Jennifer Hudson's mother, brother and nephew. The police did an exceptional job keeping the press and onlookers pretty far away. There have been very few photo's surfacing. Thankfully the family had some privacy.
Fantasia Barrino (American Idol winner Season 3) sang a gospel classic, "Your Grace and Mercy" to close the services. According to the Chicago Tribune:
Calling the Hudsons "my family," she walked off the stage and into the aisle where she took Jennifer's hand and sang directly to the actress.
"I think it healed Jennifer's soul just then," said family friend, Lisa Allison.
The three hour long service included eulogies from among others the Rev. Jesse Jackson and Chicago Mayor Richard Daley. Among those believed to have attended the service were Queen Latifah, Oprah Winfrey and Clive Davis.
Hopefully for Jennifer and her sister Julia's sake this story will begin to drop of the headlines and they can attempt to rebuild their lives out of the public eye.

Jennifer Hudsons' Missing Nephew - Julian King
By now I am sure you have all heard about the brutal murder of Jennifer Hudsons' mother and brother on Friday. Such a sad story. I first heard about it while on my way home from work. As many of you know, I live in the Chicago area and this has been all over the news here as everyone hopes for a swift return of Jennifers' missing nephew Julian King. Here are some pictures posted on Jennifers' myspace in the hopes that Julian is found soon:
Let's all keep an eye out for this boy and pray for his safe return.

Academy Award-winning Best Supporting Actress and singer Jennifer Hudson (Dreamgirls) made it on the list of "Barbara Walters Presents: The 10 Most Fascinating People of 2007," to air on ABC on Thursday, December 6.
Also on the list are record-breaking recording artist Justin Timberlake, soccer superstar David Beckham and his wife, Victoria Beckham (aka "Posh Spice"), actress Katherine Heigl, former President Bill Clinton, and MySpace creators Tom Anderson and Chris DeWolfe.
According to ABC, there will also be two surprise guests, including The Number One Most Fascinating Person of 2007.
