For Big Brother Fans - Danielle Donato interview!

CAROLYN: Looking back on the season, and frankly even while we were in it, the central theme was always the rebuilding of your relationship with your dad, and for the majority of the viewing audience, we couldn't have asked for a more fairytale ending. Do you feel like that's a solid thing now, as a result of your time & travails together in the house?

DANIELE: I certainly feel that it has brought us together. The biggest thing I take from the house is life lessons. I cannot even tell you how much I have learned from this experience. I have definitely grown as person. On this topic, I finally realized that you may not have the story book family, but that doesn't mean you don't need your family.

Big Brother 8 - Finale

I cannot believe they are going to have to fit all of this into 1 hour! This show being one of strategy, like Survivor, really needs another hour after the announcement of the winner for questions / recaps, etc. What were you thinking, why did you nominate so and so, etc? Montage's of Amber wanting to be a model, and the Jessica / Eric showmance. Seeing the expressions and reactions of the houseguests when they find out different things that happened, and how they were shown on TV, are priceless! Finding out about Eric being America's Player...they could talk about that and it's affect on the game for hours!

This show is delivered to us 24/7 for 3 months and then we get one or two questions jammed into an hour? Are you kidding me? They should have done the jury discussion/ questions on it's own show, or included it on the recap show.

Anyway, this is all we are going to get, and I can't wait? How about you?

It seems, around the Big Brother world, people think this is a game Dick can't win because of his antics. I really don't agree. I think Dick could definitely get Eric, Dustin and Zach. Those three all appreciate game play and strategy. Then, ED really only needs one more. I think on a personal level, at different times in the game, Dick had a stronger relationship than Dani with both Jessica and Amber. I think the hardest votes for ED are Jen and Jameka. That's my opinion anyway...we will know tonight how it unfolds...

It's a Donato Finale!

E.D "It's a fairy tail ending" - Yes Dick it is!

It's official, the final two are Dick and Daniele. Who would have thunk? I am personally elated! This is the first time that I can remember that I was happy with the Final 2.

Because Big Brother is 24/7 show, I spent so much time catching up on what I missed while working/sleeping that I haven't had much time to update the blog. I thought I would be able to blog more Big Brother, but the truth is, to do it right, it's a full time job. Kudo's to Carolyn at bb8dish for an OUTSTANDING BB8 blog. One stop shopping for all things Big Brother!

I'm voting for Dick, but it really doesn't matter, they've both already won.

Congratulations Donato's for being the best pair and only pair to make the Final 2 in eight seasons of Big Brother!

BB8 - Zach Wins Endurance HOH

Worst possible scenario for the LJC. Lets see how the week plays out. The houseguests don't know 2 people are going home Thursday. This surprise eviction could be exactly as expected or a complete surprise, it totally depends on the scenario conversations had this week. If the houseguest that wins HOH is not thinking ahead to next week, until they see who wins HOH, they could do anything! I doubt America will have a vote in the second eviction unless we get the vote Tuesday. The people we would have to chose from would include the houseguest evicted and the one to win the 2nd HOH. Meaning potentially the third biggest vote getter would have our vote to evict. Don't see it. After Thursday we will have our Final 4! I for one am hoping it's EJD&D!

BB8 - "We Need to Give the Producers a Handshake Shot!"

Thanks to Carolyn at bb8dish....great screen cap! I for one hope they stick to this alliance to the Final 4. I am so over the final 2 being people that don't deserve to win. We DID this America, don't you think?

BB8 - Jessica Wins HOH

I am so behind on the blog...sorry to all my readers!

The blonde bombshells have been dominating the last four weeks in the HOH competitions, Daniele, Jess, Daniele, then Jess again. All bodes well for J, E, D and D. This bunch needs an alliance name...I'm with ED on that one.

BB8 - Daniele is HOH - first repeat of the season!

Well, everything is falling into place, now that America has taken control of this game! Let's hope we continue to have this sort of influence. Amazing to see Dustin go! Good job America!

My guess is today is a better day for Jessica than this was:

BB8 - Eric - America's Player may be toast

It's funny that when I look through my screen shots I have very few of our America's Player? Feed 3 never works for me...is he always on feed 3...or what?

Late last night, early morning Dustin and Amber struck a deal with Dick and Daniele to vote out Eric. They agreed to not nominate each other for one week and vote Eric out. They will see how they feel after that. There have been a lot of things said this week and some hard feelings between these two twosomes but it seems they have come to an agreement.

Dustin agreed to vote out Eric so Amber doesn't have to go back on her word. If Dustin wouldn't have done it, she would have. I don't trust Dustin, and things can change on a dime, but thats where we were at when all went to bed this morning.

I think the combination of the banner and the phantom vote for Nick were Eric's undoing. So, I guess America could blame themselves for putting Eric in this position, but I choose to blame Eric. He in fact could have easily persuaded the house to vote out Kail instead of Nick. That was what America wanted after all? He instead went with his own agenda and pretty much ignored America. It's too bad because I would had liked to see Eric progress further in the game.

I would imagine Eric will be flattering "Jessica" which should get him his second $10 grand. So he'll leave the game with $20 grand, more than most of those people. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted!

Reports on the POV competition indicate it was pretty intense. Houseguests had to secretly record how much they would be willing to do or give up to advance in the competition. Here's what the results were:

Zach, Daniele, Kail, and Jen:
Agreed to wear bunny suits for the remainder of the week.

Zach, Daniele, Kail, Jen and Jameka:
Agreed to pour a bucket of Funk Gunk over their head every hour for 24 hours.

Kail and Jen:
Agreed to go on Slop for 720 hours.

Kail and Jameka:
Agreed to not be eligible to compete for HOH for 5 weeks.

Jen (and the POV winner):
Agreed to give up $250,000 of the $500.000 prize money if she wins.

This is changing by the minute however! We won't know for a few days how everything is going to flush out. It sounds like America's Player Eric is going to be nominated on Monday in Jen's place. The question is....can E.D. and Daniele rally enough votes to get him out?

OK, everybody I think we can pull this off. If we get Eric to campaign for Nick to stay he can make it happen. Nick has enough friends that would really rather keep him than Kail, but don't want to go against the group. Let's make it happen.
