On tomorrows results show we will be treated to a "Where are They Now" video segment on Nashville residents Bucky Covington (S5), Phil Stacey (S6), and Bo Bice (S4)!

It also looks like we could be treated to a performance by The Clark Brothers, winners of The Next Great American Band!

And....according to Kim over at girlstalkinsmack Ryan revealed on his radio show TODAY that this week would be a DOUBLE elimination week! Yikes! I would imagine this is due to next weeks Idol Gives Back extravaganza. If you remember last years IGB show, in the spirit of giving, did not eliminate a contestant that week.

Bo Bice is Entertaining the Troops!

According to BonaFideBice, Bo is currently touring in Afghanistan and Kuwait, February 4 - 13, 2008, entertaining our troops. Here are a couple of pics they tracked down of Bo on the blog of a Professor Tom Mengesha (Adjunt Assistant Professor, University of Maryland University College) who is currently stationed in Kuwait.

Bonafide Bice is reporting a collaboration Bo has made with a new band called "Brothers of the Southland". Check out the members of the band:

Wow...pretty impressive! Bo is listed as a guest vocal on their first album to be released in January. You have to visit their myspace page and have a listen to Bo singing the Marshall Tucker anthem "Can't You See". I grew up on southern rock and LOVE this stuff! Bo's rendition of this cover will appear on the album!

I have to give credit to MJ over at MJ's Big Blog for tracking this tidbit down about our 2nd place finisher, Season 4. This entry was tracked down by her team at blog.myspace.com/bonafidebice.

Source Update: It has been brought to my attention that the first scoop of this story was actually Bonafide Bice. I wouldn't have seen this story if MJ hadn't tracked it down and reported it, but she wasn't the original source. I want to give credit where credit is due!

Bo Bice singing Theme for new Will Ferrell movie

Bo announced this week that he is singing the theme song to the new Will Ferrell movie Blades of Steel. He was invited to work on the song by Ben Stiller, who is the movie's producer and has been a fan of Bo's since Idol.

The song is deliciously cheesy, with over-the-top lyrics and a bombastic sound reminiscent of 80s hair band power ballads.

You can hear it on the "Blades of Steel" MySpace page - just scroll down below the movie trailer on the right-hand side of the page and look for the heading "soundtrack" - Bo's song is listed second.

Apparently they have just finished a video for the song, which Bo says "allows me to show my sense of humor," so I'm expecting great things!
