American Idol - Top 4 - Rock Week

Expecty Ryan to be updating us on an accident that cancelled rehearsals...

Debbie Allen fell down the stairs and had to be rushed to the hospital.

Up first:

Adam - "Whole Lotta Love" by Led Zeppelin
- judges loved it; felt he was totally in his element and should make a rock album, and I agree.

Allison - "Cry Baby" by Janis Joplin
- judges love Allison, and were mostly complimentary. Not all a fan of the song choice, but big Allison fans. I was not a huge fan of the song either, but I want Allison in he Final 3!

Kris and Danny - DUET - "Wanted Man" by Styx
- Judges liked it; Simon said Danny won. The harmonies were amazing - Randy was right; better than the solo's. But, hey, rock music is all about the harmonies...think the Eagles...one of the absolute KINGS of harmony!

Kris - "Come Together" by the Beatles
- luke warm responses from the judges; but they all recognized this theme is a little out of his comfort zone. I honestly hate to see any of these 4 go, they are all so talented and are having an amazing night.

Danny - "Dream On" by Aerosmith
- again for Danny, not his genre, but a good effort. Simon still sees him as safe. Ryan reminds us he is the only remaining contestant to not have ever been in the bottom 3.

Adam and Allison - DUET - "Slow Ride" by Foghat
- great song! the judges all suggest they do a song together on their respetive albums. Simon crowns them the winner of the DUETS battle, and suggests this perofrmance could save Allison.
