On Monday's FINAL episode of Dance Wars, they will announce the NEW cast for Dancing With the Stars! They msut be trying to get someone to watch?

Dancing With the Stars debuts on ABC March 17th.

Dance Wars: Bruno vs. Carrie Ann - Performance

This performance by Team Carrie Ann brought down the house! Really well choreographed and performed. The best of the night. My prediction would be after this performance Bruno could be saying goodbye to another team member next week:

Julianne Hough and Zack Wilson

Remember back to May 2007 when we learned that Julianne Hough had broken off her engagement while competing with Apolo Ohno to become the eventual champions of Dancing With The Stars? Well, Julianne's fiance was none other than Zack Wilson who is currently competing on Dance Wars: Bruno vs. Carrie Ann as a member of Team Bruno. At the time the wedding was only being postponed due to her hectic schedule, but now it seems they are simply "good friends". Did you guys know this?

Dance Wars: Bruno vs. Carrie Ann

Team Carrie Ann won the LIVE vote last week and Bruno selected 4 to keep safe, leaving two to perform for their life in the competition. Bruno saved in this order:

Lacey
Phillip
Tony
Zack

Leaving Kelsey and Charity in the bottom two. They both sing for their life.


Charity is eliminated from Team Bruno.

Dance Wars: Bruno vs. Carrie Ann

Boy am I glad I didn't watch this show live! The show was 1/3 recaps from last week, 1/3 filler, and 1/3 dancing. This week I finally got a good handle on how this is going to work. Viewers vote for their favorite "Team". The losing team's leader (Bruno or Carrie Ann) will lose a team member and will have to chose who that will be.

The dance performances weren't THAT bad, although I think they would be better if they weren't singing too. Here were my favorites from each team.

Dance Wars - Bruno vs. Carrie Ann

I have to tell you, I am not sure I am going to be a fan of this show. They have one more week. Plus my favorite from last week? Gone! The performances and the contestants are OK, but Bruno and Carrie Ann? Really annoying me. They are not stars...they are judges. It might also be a little too "boy band" for me.

Also, poor Drew, his first big hosting gig and NO WRITERS. I have to admit I am a little concerned about American Idol. Will Ryan's experience be able to carry him through? Probably so, but I could tell Drew was reading lines that weren't very well written. Reality TV isn't completely immune from the writers strike.

I have been a little idle taking advantage of this last week before the premiere, and have decided one MEGA post is more efficient to catch you up on all of the news instead of several individual posts!

- Kelly Clarkson Number 5, Posh Beckham Number 1, on Blackwells Worst Dressed List of 2007. Posh is interesting due to the rumor that she is being wooed by Heidi Klum to be a guest judge on Project Runway, a show about fashion!

- Taylor Hicks speaks to fans about being dropped by J Records.

- Phil Stacey's first single hit radio on Monday. Slim over at idolbloglive has the audio here.

- Dance Wars: Bruno vs. Carri Ann. I am not a huge fan of the audition process on any of these shows, so I am withholding judgement. My favorite at first glance? Maxx. How can ya not love Drew as the host?
