Barack Obama on "Check, Please" in 1991

In honor of the tranfer of power happening in our nation next week, I thought I would bring you a little local color on our next president. Barack Obama was selected as a participant in a local program called "Check, Please" in August of 1991. The premise behind the show involved restaurant reviews delivered by three amateur reviewers with different backgrounds and from different areas of the city of Chicago. They each submitted their favorite restaurant, agreed to visit the restaurants chosen by the others, and then sit down with the host and discuss. Here's a clip of Obama talking about his pick.
