Fringe Gets Boost From DVR Viewers

Nielsen has released it's first "Live Plus 7" polling results for the new Fall season. "Live Plus 7" includes live viewer numbers plus DVR viewers up to 7 days after. Zap2it reports that Fringe received the biggest ratings bump over all other shows from DVR viewing up to 7 days after the show.

You really need to check out this show, if for nothing else than the amazing performance of John Noble as Dr. Walter Bishop. Dr. Walter Bishop is the "mad scientist" if you will. He keeps the show grounded and brings both humor and humanity to it. I particularly like his relationship with Agent Olivia Dunham (Anna Tory). She cuts through the "crazy" of Walter and sees his brilliance, even more so than his own son.
