MeTalkinToYou - Predictions!

This competition feels REALLY close, and I am getting more and more nervous as the time nears. I don't think either side feels safe?? Season 7 has been compared to Season 2 in that it is the ONLY other season with two males in the Finals! I do not think the emotions are nearly as high this time, but it's not over yet.

I might as well come out and say it. I think David Archuleta is going to win American Idol. I really think that even if David A flubs and David C does well, the winner is going to be David A. The votes will just be closer. So even though it feels really close, I don't think it is. This is about passion and who's fans have more passion.

It's just in my gut. I can't explain it any other way. My gut has been right 5 out of 6 seasons:

S1 - Did not watch
S2 - Gut - Ruben
S3 - Gut - Fantasia
S4 - Gut - Was not in it after Constantine left - DID NOT CARE
S5 - Gut - Kat (Only gut-miss)
S6 - Gut - Jordin
S7 - Gut - David Archuleta will be the next American Idol!

David Cook will be happier not being saddled with the restraints of being the winner. He'll sell tons of records and be very successful. This competition is just meant to have a winner like David Archuleta. Someone who is young and impressionable. Someone who believes every word of the coronation song.
