Big Brother is another one of my obsessions that I will be following this summer! I can't wait! This show has an incredibly loyal following and while substantially smaller than the American Idol fan base, they are no less (and probably more) obsessive. The real draw of this program is the Live Feeds available again this year by purchasing the Real SuperPass. More details on that and a link will follow as the date gets closer.

Big Brother will once again air on CBS three nights a week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. The big addition is a nightly, three hour live broadcast from the Big Brother house, to air on sister network ShoToo, an offshoot of Showtime. Most cable packages that carry ShowTime also carry ShoToo.
The three hour nightly show, entitled “Big Brother: After Dark” will air from 9PM PT/12AM ET to 12AM PT/3AM ET.
Also announced by CBS is the premiere date for Big Brother, which will be July 5.
The 3 hour live broadcast is interesting. Will they show all 4 feeds? Will it be a different feed? It seems CBS has figured out the lure of this show and wants to capitalize on it.
It's certainly an interesting way to to lure more people to the live feeds. However, those of us already obsessed know 3 hours a day doesn't even begin to tell the story...
