Simon Cowell told all of the Top 24 contestants they may as well book their plane tickets home after Lakisha performed "I Am Telling You, I'm Not Going" on the first night of the Top 12 Girls performances. While she has gotten a mix of both good and bad reviews from the judges, similar praise Lakisha has not received since.
I think Lakisha had a couple of judgement errors that she kept repeating. She picked the wrong songs, and she didn't listen to the advice of the mentors. I remember back to Lulu practically begging Lakisha to sing another song, and she didn't. Well, either way, 4th place isn't too shabby! Congrats Kiki!
