Dancing With The Stars - Week 6

This week the celebrities and their professional partners danced two dances. This season they seem to be performing "two dances" awfully early? The second dance turns out to be the group dance (group swing)...so that made a little more sense.

Joey and Kym, Samba, 27
Strong performance by Joey, his posture much improved. He messed up some steps or it sounds like he would have gotten 10's.

Heather and Jonathan, Paso Doble, 23
Heather and Jonathan traveled to England and back, and didn't have alot of time to practice. Not that great, although they tried to throw as much drama as possible into it. They performed to a wierd version of "Don't Cry For Me Argentina". the judges want them to stick around...and so do I!

John and Edyta, Mambo, 19
John is probably the least talented of the remaining bunch...and I expect his scores to reflect it. His footwork isn't bad, but he doesn't seem to have ANY hip movement at all. George Wendt(Norm)is in the audience! Me think's they are going for a beer after!

Tom says Mario Lopez will be on the results show tomorrow! YEA!! AND members of the cast of DREAMGIRLS performing "Steppin to the Bad Side" WOW...good results show for once!

Laila and Maxim, Cha Cha, 28
Laila is a great performer. I think this competition os harder on the women, because they really have to be tight and fast with their steps. I think if Laila can tighten her legs up she could be in the finals of this thing...maybe?

Billy Ray and Karina, Jive, 21
Oops, forgot about Billy Ray when I said John was the worst. Karina has made peace with the fact that it will not be a good technical routine, and wants to showcase Billy's performance skills!

Apolo and Julianne, Rumba, 28
Wow, they stepped up to the pressure! Really good performance. Loved the choreography! So cute, reminds me of some of the cute choreography Karina put together last year for her and Mario.



Ian and Cheryl, Paso Doble, 24
Didn't see it, I imagine Ian was as uptight as ever looking at the scores. Cheryl really didn't luck out this year. Most of Ian's attempts at a personality, just fall FLAT.

Group Swing...was pretty fun! Many of the Celebrities danced with more than one partner, so no reall big "solo's" like in the past. Very cute.
