Source Update: It has been brought to my attention that the first scoop of this story was actually Bonafide Bice. I wouldn't have seen this story if MJ hadn't tracked it down and reported it, but she wasn't the original source. I want to give credit where credit is due!
Bo Bice singing Theme for new Will Ferrell movie
Bo announced this week that he is singing the theme song to the new Will Ferrell movie Blades of Steel. He was invited to work on the song by Ben Stiller, who is the movie's producer and has been a fan of Bo's since Idol.
The song is deliciously cheesy, with over-the-top lyrics and a bombastic sound reminiscent of 80s hair band power ballads.
You can hear it on the "Blades of Steel" MySpace page - just scroll down below the movie trailer on the right-hand side of the page and look for the heading "soundtrack" - Bo's song is listed second.
Apparently they have just finished a video for the song, which Bo says "allows me to show my sense of humor," so I'm expecting great things!

FYI . . . this tidbit was not tracked down by MJ - she merely reported the information that had been scooped by Bonafide Bice. Bonafide Bice is not her blog.
No offense, but she gets credit for a lot of things she didn't originally scoop. I happen to know the owner of the BFB blog.
