Top 10 GUYS Perform - Reviews / Predictions

OK I admit I rely on some of my blog friends for the names of these songs! Many of my FAV blogs are down or overloaded! Could my blog be having the same problem? Only time will tell!

Phil Stacey "I Ain't Missing You at All"
Well, in all honesty, I don't like Phil. He bugs me...don't know why. However, this was a really good performance. I liked it much better than last week. I don't get how Simon feels he is a guarantee to be around next week. I don't see it that way?

Jared Cotter "Let's Get it On"
Gosh, I like Jared, and this was BETTER. I still feel like he could do better, like he's holding back? Somewhat forgettable I'm afraid?

AJ Tabaldo "Feelin Good"
This was a good song selection for AJ. I am liking him more and more each time I hear him. He has a good set of pipes! Is that enough...we will see?

Sanjaya Malakar "Steppin out with My Baby"
Sanjaya is the perfect example of how this competition can eat a youngin alive. Unfortunately, I think Jordin will be taking classes alone this year. Sanjaya isn't gonna make it.

Chris Sligh "Trouble"
Chris has a plan...a strategy...that I really want to address. Maybe now isn't the time. The machine that is American Idol wants Chris in the Top 12. This was good enough to make that happen. An interesting note, this song was leaked last week as his song. I thought it was a typo since he ended up singing "Typical". Maybe not, maybe he didn't get clearance in time, or maybe bad info?

Nick Pedro "Fever"
I saw Simon snapping his fingers...did you? I LOVE the tone of Nicks's voice and Simon is right on about the charisma thing. He looked like he came straight from work. I could see Nick being a Michael Buble type performer, if he can overcome the charisma thing.

Blake Lewis "Virtual Insanity"
Now if we could take a little bit of Blake and give it to Nick...? Blake has the performance confidence and a good sense for song selection. He should be safe. Two strong performances from him.

Brandon Rogers "Time After Time"
I share Simon's disappointment with Brandon. I have high hopes for him and he needs to make a better song selection next week, IF he makes it to next week. I really hope Brandon gets another chance. He has so much going for him.

Chris Richardson "Geek in the Pink"
I liked Chris's stage presence and performance on this song. I don't know the song, and maybe I should, but I don't think it will hurt him. I think he is safe.

Sundance Head "Mustang Sally"
Horrible song choice. This song should NEVER be sung on this show. However, it worked OK for Sundance, showed off his range. Simon was right. He can do better.

My bottom 3: Sanjaya, Brandon, Jared
VFTW supporting: Sundance Head
